You may have already known who Michael Phelps is. He is a swimming legend who has been a huge part of the sport for a very long time. I wish I could say he brought me into the sport of swimming.

Ever since I came into the sport, I've looked up to him and admired him. Throughout the years, he trained like a champion, making history over and over again. This man made the Olympics at a young age and that is very impressive. He has won over 20 Olympic medals and he has declared once again that he is retiring from swimming for good. He is finally ready to hang up the suit and goggles.

He has done so much for the sport and I admire him for that. He is one of the best role models that I have ever known. He proves that with hard work, anything is possible, not matter how young you may be. That success will come with hard work. He has proven that one has to be dedicated to doing what he has done. He trained every day, he kept relaxed before every big race, and he was a respectful teammate. He showed the best sportsmanship I've ever seen out of any swimmer. He is the greatest Olympian of all-time.

I would be honored to meet him because he is really respectful of the sport and he always shows up to train, to get faster, and to be there for his teammates. Anybody like that, I would like to meet. Any swimmer would like to meet him. He is the ultimate role model for any swimmer. He put the sport in the spotlight. He is one of the role models of swimming that I look up to. I wish him luck on his future endeavors and happiness with his family. I will always remember him as an idol of many and an honorable representative of Team U.S.A.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
