Working out: you either love it or you hate it. But either way, you probably still do it (sometimes). Don't get me wrong, I know you can get these so called "endorphins" when you get a good exercise going on, but I personally don't think that they exist because when I work out, all I get is extremely sweaty/ feel like I'm dying.
Once you go to college, life doesn't get any better for people who hate working out. In college, you are forced to go to the gym every once in a while to avoid the freshman 15. And it doesn't help that the gym is small and stuffy and packed with people your age who actually know what they are doing.
So when it comes to exercise, the gym is my least favorite place to be because I have no idea what I am doing.
Here are the thoughts of someone who strongly dislikes working out at a gym:
1. Why am I here?
2. Look at that girl, she's been on the treadmill for like 30 minutes.
3. How long has it been since I've been on this elliptical?
4. Only five minutes?
6. OK how about now?
7. ONLY SIX MINUTES?
8. I can't feel my legs.
9. HAS IT REALLY ONLY BEEN SEVEN MINUTES?
10. I think I'm having a heart attack.
11. Why am I the only one sweating here?
12. OK, time do so something other than cardio.
13. Uh... what's that machine?
14. Everyone using these machines looks so glamorous.
15. And really fit.
16. Oh that's probably because they use the machines.
17. Maybe I can go in the ab room.
18. But it's pretty crowded and then people will see me.
19. Oh my god I'm so bored.
20. Oh look another fit person.
21. How can someone lift that much weight!?
22. THAT GIRL IS STILL RUNNING ON THE TREADMILL.
23. Wow I am kinda hungry.
24. Looks like I gotta go.
24. I'll just come back tomorrow and get a better work out in!
25. Then I'll be just like everyone here!
26. Oof looks like tomorrow won't actually won't work for me.
27. Or the next day...
28. I guess I'll just come back next week.
29. Because now all I can think about is pizza.
30. I totally deserve that pizza after my really difficult work out.
31. Pizza it is.
