To me one of the best parts of joining a sorority was getting my big. Like I said, having a big is like always having someone to hang out with, even if it's just doing homework at midnight and talking about literally everything and anything. Your big is the first person you call when you get into trouble, she'll yell at you and then laugh at you and or with you. The big is the one sister you know will always have your back and fight for you and with you when things go wrong. A big is a sister chosen by you and for you to always be your best friend and to guide you. My big and I met during fall recruitment and the moment we met each other, we knew that we wanted each other as big and little. There was just this connection. We've only known each other since September but it feels like so much longer. You kind of claimed me as your little from the beginning and I knew that I wanted you as my big and best friend. Bigs are all of these things in one, best friend, guide , defender and literally just your persona We just instantly bonded. Nobody was surprised when we became big and little because we are literally so similar that it's scary. The " I'm kidnapping you, be ready in ten" texts always end up with us either going on some weird adventures or just hanging in your dorm doing homework. Or attempting to. Yes, she's the crazy, beautiful sister I get you all my big and my best friend. But to me, she's more than that. She's the one I'll always have a special connection with because we're both so similar and got close instantly. Because I know she's always got my back and I'll never feel alone. With big, I'll never be alone. I know I'll always have someone in my corner and that's a pretty great thing. So anyway this one is for you Biggie. I love you so much.
