Brother (n): A person to whom you are related. Sometimes a role model. Sometimes an ass. Sometimes a friend. A person who you are stuck being related to until the day you die, through good or bad.

This special breed of human beings that can be obnoxious and lovable can only be one person, your brother. These guys may act like they know everything about everything, and while they are accurate on occasion, girls are able to learn a lot from living with their brothers.

1. Girls aren't always the last ones to get ready.

2. You understand that boy clothes are the comfiest articles of clothing you will ever be hand-me-downed.

3. Younger brothers will eventually reach an age of understanding. This means despite him being X years old, he will be there to protect you, and act like he's older than you.

4. Your older brother(s) will be protective as well. Just remember that it comes with the territory and that it means he loves you.

5. Boys worry about relationship problems in a different way, but they worry nonetheless. They aren't heartless players (not all of them at least).

6. Your brother will always give you a harsher dress code than your high school did.

7. If you have a brother who is 21, he will buy you beer and this will be something you guys bond over.

8. If you bring a boyfriend home, you brother won't like him.

9. You will automatically feel more comfortable talking to guys because you have been trained to interact with them for your whole life.

10. Boy's deodorant works much better than girl's.

11. You will forever be the "little princess" of the family. It's a blessing and a curse.

12. No mater how attractive your brother's friends are, you have to get used to thinking of them as off limits.

13. While your brother eats five pizzas, two bags of chips and massive amount of various types of junk food, he will gain next to no weight. It's super annoying.

14. You live for the day when you have your own house and are able to walk around in your underwear without any fear that your brother/his friends will be around.

15. If anyone ever messes with you, they will be pushed up to the number one spot on your brother's list; a list nobody ever wants to be on.

16. Your brother(s) may annoy the hell out of you, but you will never love anybody more than them.
