You Should Be Excited About Fall

Fall is my favorite season and it's also the best one. Yeah sure, winter has Christmas but fall has Halloween and Thanksgiving. You get the best of summer and winter all in one season with fall. Spending time outside is more bearable when the temperatures drop down a little and you get holidays.

The weather is so much better.

It is no longer unbearably hot outside meaning that you can stay outside longer before wanting to go back inside. Spending time outside is much more comfortable and there is still plenty of sunlight during the day that you don't feel like it's 11 at night when it is only 7.

You get to break out all the cozy sweaters!

Break out the cozy sweaters and get ready for all the fall festivities! The cooler weather makes wearing a sweater so much more comfortable, especially on those cooler mornings when you want to stay in bed all day.

You can put on your favorite sweater and run errands or go out with friends. Put on your coziest one and curl up on the couch and watch scary movies or the Harry Potter movies.

Hot drinks just got SO much better.

On the cold and rainy fall days, coming inside can only warm you up so much. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or whatever other drink you can think of that will warm you up becomes so much better.

Not only will they help warm you up but making your drink of choice can help give you a break from whatever you are doing if you are stressed.

Halloween!

Holiday number 1 in fall! Costumes, scary stories, candy, and friends all in one day! Grab your friends and have a Halloween party, dress up in costumes for fun and find somewhere to go, or put together a Halloween or scary movie marathon.

Get your friends together and find some horror movies to watch. Get some popcorn and movie snacks, get comfortable and watch as many horror movies as you guys can in one night.

Find a pumpkin and pick what you want to make it into. Pick something cute or something scary, just get creative with it and have fun!

Thanksgiving!

The second fall holiday has it's own set of benefits. Even though Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners are probably the most stressful dinners to prepare, they are some of the best dinners to have. Gathering with friends and family and having good home-cooked food is always a fun time.

The world erupts into color.

When the leaves change color, the trees go from green to yellow, orange, or red. This makes everyday walks or drives much more colorful. Plus when the leaves fall you can rake them into piles and have fun jumping in and out of them. You can also bag them up in decorated and festive bags to use as decoration.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time.
