Let me just say, you really are one of my best friends. You know, I say that a lot to others. However, you are the only person I want to be roommates with when I get out of college. I am so grateful that when I was in 10th grade, that we got placed in the same biology class even though you were a little freshman then. You always said, I just randomly came up to you and asked you to sit next to me and I talked your ear off. The thing is I don't remember doing that but I probably did. I don't remember us really getting close until the year after that. I was a junior and now, you were a sophomore. We were both in ACT/SAT class, which I couldn't tell you what we did in that class except that our teacher called me my sister's name the whole time (but that's not the point). I do remember getting closer to you in that class and we joke around a lot in that class. If we wouldn't doing homework, we were be talking and messing around. Before winter break, we had a free day to do whatever and you had plastic bag with putty from chemistry class. We drew on that bag the whole time, made references about Christmas and we named it "Slimy."
That is one of those memories that will always stick in my head.
You have always been here for me and including high school and I don't think you know how grateful I am for you. Thank you for telling me I could do better than that boy who treated me badly, being blunt, and understanding when I just needed a hug and a good cry. Thanks for our improv car trips where we just drive around while I clear my head while listening to music and laughing.
"I love you by the way!" I said this while in the Taco Bell drive-thru and the guy just looked at me weirdly. He was messing with us and he bought us our drinks. We drove off and you were just dying of laughter and I couldn't figure out why. This was one of my favorite quotes from you, "He probably thinks we are dating, you and I." Then we talked about that for a while and we both joked about it. I reply with, "I think a lot of people think that. It just means we are really close."
I know you are going to hate me for that mention it, however, that's how we are and we don't change for others.
We are both super sassy... One of us always has to say, "Don't give me that sass." I am usually the one who says it.
I am so glad you are my best friend, person and future roomie.
P.S. Remember this, I am always here for you, even though we live an hour and 14 minutes away from one another while at school. You can come visit me!
