The infamous college spring break trip is something fantasized by all college students because of the illustration movies and tv shows give us all about the week of events. It may be tough to hear, BUT the week really does not go like you expect it will, especially your freshman year trip to Destin.

I honestly started laughing typing out that last sentence because it takes me back to my spring break experience last year as a freshman.

While I am not going to tell you about MY experience, I will let the cast of "90210" tell you what to expect.

MOOD. This is how everyone feels after their last class before the break and they are ready to start driving down to the beach already.

The road trip down to the beach playing loud jams with the top down and with your best girls, what could be better? Honestly, you are probably the most obnoxious ones on the road, but you can't help it! The anticipation to see what the week is all about is thrilling!

Waking up the first day of the trip on the beach like...

Shoutout to your friend who worked out all year for a killer body and keeps finessing a new guy each night. We all have at least 2 of those in each spring break group.

Acting like you are a full-blown supermodel on the beach for that killer Instagram game so you can make everyone aware that you are on spring break.

This is an accurate depiction of you watching your friend make an absolute fool of herself on the beach in her little polka dot bikini. Be sure to have your camera on you at all times so you can capture every memory made.

All throughout the week, people will be coming in and out of your condo. Both people you know and do not know. Both people you have invited and have not invited. So my advice to you is to have some concealer and mascara within reach at all times of the week.

Being around people partying all week sounds fun right? Well, I promise it is a bit overwhelming to try and keep up all week. Especially if you take an L the day before. Don't stress yourself out if you need to take a break one day, everyone will have to at one point during the trip.

Accurate depiction of your friend asking "How much do you remember from last night?" and having to answer.

Then apologizing to your whole group like...

Also, remember that one cute boy you have had a crush on all Freshman year? Yeah, he is going to be the most ill-behaved this week. Don't expect him to start settling down this week.

But then you meet a guy that looks like this and you suddenly want to transfer schools because men at your school do not look like this. And, on top of it, you feel better about your freshman crush messing around because you obviously can do better.

You will have the "mom" in your group. They will one day make you want to do this.

And this one goes out to the moms of the trip. Be prepared, you are going to have 15 children running around and trying to wrangle them all in is not going to equal a fun time for you. Drink a glass of wine, or whatever your preference is, and relax.

Yes, I am aware this is from the original "90210" show, but it does the job to explain this next point. You are going to be in a house full of girls all week. Not everyone is going to get along the whole time because, by nature, we simply cannot. So, just know drama will probably occur but do the best you can by being the positive influence and stay out of it so you can continue to have a fun time!

You may think what happens at spring break stays at spring break. Well, this is not Vegas, and it is important to remember that the decisions you make this week will come back to school with you so make wise ones!

From the original show, also, BUT it is also needed to explain this point. Go have fun and do what you want. BUT. Please be careful and make sure you are not having so much fun that you are not aware of your actions and surroundings. The police are not looking to get you in trouble but if you are obviously not okay, they will come up to you.

So, my advice is to not go into the week thinking it will be the most amazing time of your life. It might be or it might not be.

Just go into the week with a positive attitude and you are bound to make some amazing memories!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
