Exercising is a part of life, and if you don't play a sport, likely you'll get most of your exercise done in the gym. Likewise, conversations warrant responses, so when a girl says she just got back from the gym after being asked what was going on, here are three things not to include in the conversation or any preceding conversations:
1. "But,you don't even need to workout"
"Uhhhhh, thanks... I guess?" Honestly, it's not really up to you if we feel the need or desire to improve our bodies but it's kind of you to point out that we look alright by your standards! And hey, sometimes you just need to get your heart pumping and your sweat on to feel good and ready for the day.
2. "Oh, so, do you squata *insert smug grin*?"
Could you at least come up with a more original way to make a comment about a girl's butt? Also, even if we were squatting, we were probably sweating buckets-- hope that image comes to mind as well!
3. "Aren't you worried about looking manly?"
This is more for anyone that does any kind of strength training. No, because the second we start to look manly, we'll probably quit whatever exercise got us there. But honestly, women don't have the testosterone that men do, so unless you're taking mad supplements, femininity isn't going to be a problem.
4. "So, are you gonna judge me for eating this, then?"
Absolutely not. Just because a girl went to the gym doesn't mean she's on a certain diet and even if she was, she's not going to judge you for fueling your body with what YOU want to fuel YOUR body with!
PS: Don't judge us if the exercise we want to participate in is Zumba might really enjoy dancing. Don't judge us if we're going to just walk on the treadmill. At least we're getting some exercise. Don't
