The first date is not to be taken lightly. It is essential that guys put a lot of thought into making it a special night. The first date sets the tone for other dates in the near future in case you don't F*** it up with the person you are seeing.
1. Movie theater as a first date?
I think not. If I wanted to watch a movie in the dark I would have stayed home. Its awkward as hell if you don't really know the person you are dating at the moment. Especially if you are watching a movie you don't want to see but scared to voice out your dislike when you don't know how that person reacts. Not to mention stupid when you are trying to talk and people are nonstop telling you to be quiet.
2. IHOP?
Reallly! out of all restaurants you pick IHOP. Rolls eyes. That's the place you go to when you just got done from partying all night, having Multiple twerk sessions, drinking 10 bottles of liquor and falling on the concrete. You can't help but have a craving for pancakes to kill your hangover. So please don't waste a girl time in taking her to IHOP that she easily go to with her friends.
3. Taking a trip to your boo hood and eat $ 1 slice of pizza is not the way to go.
For me that shows a guy who does not care about my safety or the fact he too cheap to feed me something else other then stale pizza. Beware of the Brokey's ladies, they are the ones to brag how you can never get any better then this. Hmm Your wrong , watch me get someone much better who work and go to school.
4. Dining Hall.
I understand money is tight while we are away at school. But don't think just cause you swiped for me means it is a date. Yes FELLAS it is not a date. Besides I wouldn't feel right for you to use your meal plan on me. That is money you pay for to use whenever its convenient.
5. McDonald's?
Please give it a rest. There is no reason for a girl to get dolled up to eat a burger from the dollar menu. I don't see this as a guy trying to impress her or making an effort to get to know her. For all you guys know she may not like eating that stuff. All girls including myself don't expect to be taken to a five star restaurant but at least make us feel special.
Guys and Girls keep in mind that a first date is a first impression. A first date is the obstacle you take in seeing whether you want to continue a relationship with someone or just having that 'Oh shit ' moment like why am I entertaining this fool.
