The Person Who is Your One of a Kind

Friendships are a wonderous thing, but when it comes to having a best friend who understands you as a person it brings a whole new meaning to friendship. When it comes to my best friend we will sometimes talk about how we were jinxed into the meeting by a mutual friend.

Frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way because with David Morse my best friend of almost two years I feel I can accomplish what I set out to do. As for those who haven't found their kindred spirit that's okay because they are out there and the minute you find them you just know you found your kindred spirit.

Most of you might have already found your one true confidante in high school or even much younger. However, not everyone is as lucky and are waiting awhile before they find their companion. I know I had to and when I found that person it was like I didn't need to hide the true me. It does say a lot when you are able to feel free and open with them.

Now finding your kindred spirit doesn't have to just be finding that special friend it can also be about finding a soulmate. However, finding a soulmate isn't as easy as finding that special friend. So with a soulmate, some people could find it high school but those relationships can go either way. As for when it comes to the ones who find their soulmate later in life that can also go either way but a little less complicated if each person didn't go to the same high school.

If you don't think to find that one is possible it is your choice but there is nothing wrong with believing in love and learning to have faith. For me, I do believe in love even if I haven't found my soulmate yet and also I do have faith because I did finding that one special friend.

So if things aren't simple when it comes to finding either that special friend, soulmate or both it's okay because sometimes life isn't always simple. Now as long as you believe in love and having faith you might just find the person that is special to you that you can say is your kindred spirit.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
