The Eve app by Glow is a period tracker and sex app for girls everywhere who want to learn more about their bodies and own it as the do!
1. It tracks your period.
Every girl I know has at least once forgotten when their period was coming and was met with a little (or BIG!) surprise. The Eve app has a period tracker that will help you out with that. You can also log other health components that may affect your period such as sex, exercise, discharge and so much more!
2. It encourages girls to love their bodies.
Eve is a safe environment for girls to promote self love and teaches them to love their bodies by educating them in the things they do not know about themselves physically, making them more confident in who they are.
3. It educates girls on all the different types of birth control available to them. Every. Single. One.
The Eve app has a specific section just for birth control. Here you can find out about the various birth control methods there are including the pill, condoms (both male and female), IUD’s, the patch and so much more. It will even help you find out where you can get birth control for yourself.
4. It comes with a period horoscope. Yes, I said period horoscope!
On the app it’s called your “Cyclescope.” After downloading the app and putting in your cycle information, every day you will receive a little notification called a “Gem.” The Cyclescope Gem gives you information based on what day it is in your cycle from how to get rid of the period blues to why you’ve been feeling so cranky and irritated. It’s pretty cool. Speaking of Gems,
5. IT HAS GEMS!!
Gems are basically little bubbles with different information on different subjects. Every day you get a new one for each subject. Some subjects include Sex Quiz, Fact or Fiction, His Body, Less Stress and more. You can always buy more gems too, for a small price! Last but definitely not least:
6. The community is the absolute freaking best!
One of the best parts of the Eve app is the open community between users. Here you can ask fellow women questions that you aren’t sure of, whether they be about sex, periods, pregnancy, etc. You can get feedback and advice from real live women who may have had an experience similar to you or completely different from you, opening up a whole new world of insight. You can also just post everyday things. Just got a new puppy? Post a pic! Met a new guy? Spill all the details, girl! And if you’re worried about posting your own questions, maybe you feel a bit insecure, that’s okay! Not only is the community very open and accepting, there is also an anonymous option to post questions freely without judgement. So have at it girl and invite your friends!
