Where has the time gone?! It is already the middle of August and school is just around the corner, or it has already begun for some of you. If you're one of the lucky ones that has one last week to savor -- make it count! Don't spend your last week of summer scratching your head wondering how you should spend it. Follow this emergency end of summer bucket list instead!

Go on a hike.

Stand in awe of the views! Nothing says summer like the smell of sweet mountain air!

Read a good book.

There is nothing better than cuddling up with a good book, your favorite cup of coffee or tea and relaxing the day away!

Hang with your friends before they leave for college, too.

One of the downsides of having friends that go to different schools is that you aren't able to see them during the school year. That's why you should make the most of summer!

Make something for your dorm.

If you're ready to get back on campus and can't stop thinking about school your last week of summer, try making something for your dorm room!

Go to the pool or beach.

Soak up those last few sun rays while you can!

Binge watch your favorite Netflix show.

Before you have to study all day, relish the last few lazy summer days.

Master those beach waves.

Just because summer is almost over doesn't mean that your summer style has to disappear too! Keep rocking those beach waves your last week of summer and into the school year!

Try a new food.

Seriously though! When school is back in session you'll be stuck with Cafeteria food, so why not try some new cuisine while you can?

Go on the lake.

Sit and swim in the peaceful serenity of your last week of summer. Before you know it you'll be drowning in homework.

Roast marshmallows.

If you haven't made a proper s'more this summer, what have you been doing?

Be a tourist in your hometown.

You don't have go far to enjoy some sightseeing, restaurants, culture or a mini summer vacation. Just look outside your window, and explore your hometown!

Go on a road trip.

If you do have time to go outside of your town, go for it! Grab a friend, a good mixed CD and hit the road!

Take lots of pictures.

They remind you of the great memories you've made this summer, so take a lot of them!

Have a game night with friends.

Game nights are the best nights!

Bake a cake.

Treat yourself! It's the last week of summer, and you should indulge yourself before you have to hit the books.

Sleep in.

The few moments before the alarm clock goes off are priceless. So, turn off the alarm, instead, and love every morning moment!

Finally, appreciate your last seven days of summer by recuperating, relaxing and recharging before you have to go back to school.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
