If you're at all like me, you have a New Year's resolution that is about getting fit, stronger, or healthier. Also, if you're like me trekking across campus in freezing weather and feet of snow to get to the gym doesn't sound very appealing. An easy solution: work out in your dorm. Here are four workouts that you don't need to leave your dorm room to do.

Arms

This workout is quick but effective when combined with proper form.

10 tricep dips

20 diamond push ups

30 regular pushups

20 diamond pushups

10 tricep dips

Repeat 3 times

Core

100 total crunches of different variations plus planks to build a strong core.

25 regular crunches

25 to the left side

25 to the right side

25 straight leg

Plank for 30 seconds and rest for 30 seconds for a total of 5 minutes

Repeat twice.

Legs

Each exercise requires 10 more reps than the last, plus several sets makes this leg workout extremely effective.

10 push ups

20 squats

30 lunges (15 each leg)

40 crunches

50 mountain climbers

Repeat 5 times.

Cardio

Cardio is all-around important for all aspects of your health so it's in your best interest to incorporate it somewhere into your fitness regimen.

1 min run in place

50 jumping jacks

50 mountain climbers

15 burpees

15 in and out burpees

1 min run in place

Repeat 3 times.

You can combine these workouts to get your whole body, increase/decrease reps or sets or modify to your ability level.
