Don't go through recruitment if you don't want any of these things:
1. If you don't want to find your absolute best friends on the planet earth.
When you go through recruitment, your first friends in college are the one's in your Pi Chi group. You have all of your meals with your friends in the group and you bond with tears and mental breakdowns with your roommate and hall-mates. You bond over the pain of not getting into one sorority but bond over having some of the same sororities still listed on your schedule. Some of your best friends won't have to be in your sorority but you will gain them from going through recruitment and from all going through the same emotions.
2. If you don't want to give everything that you can to whichever charity you're sorority gives to.
The best feeling ever is the smile on the faces of the people in charge of your charities when you can hand them a large check from all of the fundraising and time that was put into getting that money. That joy is beyond indescribable.
3. If you don't want to have a dance competition to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.
Cheering on your own sorority and cheering for your friends in other sororities. You will not fall short of a competition when you go Greek.
4. If you don't want a secret study room away from the chaos in the library during finals week.
Snacks on snacks and a quiet space with a couple of friends in the chapter room is the best during a really stressful finals week!
5. If you don't want to have some of the best socials and formals with some of your closest friends.
You get to go to formals and dress up with friends. As well as, go to thrift stores and find the craziest things to wear.
6. If you don't want cool t-shirts, either.
You get a cool T-shirt for everything and the best part is when you get to stack up the T-shirts and have all of the memories.
7. And if you don't want some of the best game day dates anyone can find.
Game days are always better when you have an awesome group of girls around you.
