Several months ago a new meme was introduced to the world of memes. It was started by Karen Zach (aka @teenybiscuit) on Twitter who noticed the similarity between two very popular things: dogs and food. Zach began posting these pictures on her Twitter asking followers if they could tell the difference between dogs and food that had striking similarities. As an avid lover of both dogs and food, this meme absolutely pertains to me as well as many others. Can you tell the difference between these dogs and foods?

1. Labradoodle or fried chicken?

The similarities are uncanny. Does that fried chicken have a face or is that labradoodle laying on a plate?

2. Puppy or bagel?

Ohhh those sleepy puppies are so cute. Or...or are those sleepy bagels so cute?

3. Sheepdog or mop?

Regardless or which one is which, they're probably both very good at cleaning floors.

4. Chihuahua or muffin?

Are those muffins staring at me or am I just going insane...?

5. Shiba or marshmallow?

Both are soft and toasted and just overall really beautiful.

Zach didn't just stop with dogs, and realized that there are many animals that coincidentally look like food.

6. Parrot or guacamole?

I sure hope my guacamole can't fly...

7. Kitten or ice cream?

A good summer treat, but be careful of fur balls!

8. Barn Owl or apple?

Well, I mean, they are both found in trees.

9. Shrew or kiwi?

Oh. Oh no. They are so small. And soft. And round.

Zach created a really adorable (and tasty?) meme and some of her followers jumped onto the bandwagon.

10. Corgi butt or loaf of bread?

Both are fluffy and soft and I love them very much.

11. Dalmatians or ice cream?

Which would be better: "101 Dalmatians" or 101 Tubs of Ice Cream?

Out of all of these memes though, there is only one that is impossible to tell the difference...

12. Donald Trump or dead chicken?

I honestly can't tell the difference. The resemblance is uncanny.
