"Tom Clancy's The Division" generated over $330 million in the first five days after being released, and conceptually has delivered one of the most fascinating settings for an MMORPG-shooter (third person) to date. However, there have been near game-breaking glitches and exploits that have plagued "Division" members, particularly since the release of the new incursion "Falcon Lost."

From "glitching" through walls in order to slaughter NPCs that are rendered unable to return fire to players being able to exploit and stack particular weapon talent effects in order to achieve astronomical damage and almost infinite health, the game has seen an uncanny amount of cheating. It's one thing to attain insanely high damage that others can't reach in a player-versus-environment setting. But in regards to "The Division's" player-versus-player-based Dark Zone, this creates for an enormous disparity between casual players and those who have spent copious amounts of time exploiting the game's various glitches in order to achieve absolutely insane damage-per-second values and stamina (health) values.

Ubisoft posted the following response to widespread exploits.

"Our first step is to give you clearer and more concrete visibility. Should new bugs be discovered, we will quickly confirm if these are considered exploits. All known exploits will be clearly listed in a public forum thread and across our various communication platforms. We want all players to be informed. This will ensure that those caught after an exploit was confirmed are aware of the consequences and actions that can be taken against them.

Second, sanctions will be implemented for players who repeatedly abuse exploits and will vary depending on the severity of the abuse, as well as the history of the player. Possible sanctions include character rollbacks, account suspensions and permanent bans. Those who encounter bugs during the normal course of play have absolutely nothing to worry about."

Although the game is not without its various blemishes, it's still worth playing and definitely should at least get better within the coming months, updates, and additions.
