Disney Sidekicks Are the Best

The top Disney sidekicks that make us all want one!

Who doesn't wish they had a talking animal as a sidekick. Of course once again Disney gave us unrealistic expectations that all animals and/or sidekicks talk. Here are just some of my favorites!

1. Mushu

Mushu is a sassy little dragon who is there to help Mulan along the way. Of course though his attitude can get him into trouble sometimes. If it wasn't for Mushu by her side Mulan may not have been able to save China! Also remember to never call him a lizard.

2. Timon and Pumba

You can never separate these two because they make up a great team. Timon and Pumba saved Simba's life and raised him. That's right they raised a future king! They also taught us the most important motto: Hakuna Matata!

3. Pascal

So I may be a little biased but Pacal is the best sidekick! He is my favorite because there is so much sass in that little body! Pascal is always by Rapunzel's side and he isn't afraid to help fight. What can I say who doesn't want a sassy chameleon!

4. Olaf

I know everyone is tired of hearing about Frozen but who doesn't have a soft spot for Olaf. He is the happiest snowman alive who just wants to experience summer. Let's not forget to mention he kinda helped bring Anna and Elsa back together.

5. Louis

Louis is a friendly alligator who has the dream of being in a jazz band. He is also there for Tiana and Naveen on their quest. As a thank you Tiana lets Louis play trumpet at her new restaurant.

6. Flit and Meeko

This duo shows that you don't always have to get along to be best friends, if you can call these two best friends. These two add some comedy into Pocahontas' world. Also always have biscuits for Meeko.

7. Genie

Genie is probably one of the most loved Disney character. He showed Aladdin that he needs to be truthful to get Jasmine's love. Genie helps save the day and in return Aladdin grants his freedom.

8. Maximus

Oh Maximus the best horse who acts like a dog ever! Max helps Rapunzel live her dream and he helps save Flynn. Just be sure to keep him and Pascal separate at your wedding.

9. Dug

Dug is everyones favorite talking dog. Dug starts off on the bad side but eventually moves over to the good side. He helps Carl and Russel finish their adventure.

10. Tinker Bell

Tinker Bell is a special one, for some reason she is is extremely rude in Peter Pan but really nice in her own spin off movies. That could be because fairies can only feel one emotion at a time. In the end she saved everyone from Hook by drinking poison.

So in the end I think we can all agree that we all need a Disney sidekick in our lives.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
