Dear Mr. President

Lets TRULY make America great again.

Dear Mr. President

Donald Trump, your presence in this race has done two major things: Bring hope to those that are tired of a corrupt government, and fuel the hate and racism that already existed (but not tolerated) in this country. Your followers believe in you so strongly, they believe you can be the one to make a change in our damaged government system. (They took a real leap of faith in my opinion.) They are so tired of the same misbehavior in politics that they completely ignore (And some condone and support) the horror that comes along with him

I can just imagine the trump supporters already fuming while reading this... and this is just what I'm talking about. Bigotry, to start, is something in Donald Trump that is becoming socially acceptable among his active followers. Not only opposing any opinion that doesn't match up with theirs and becoming enraged by it, but also outwardly saying that certain groups of people's opinions don't matter. This sense of superiority that lives in Donald trump arises in his defenders. I think it's the sense of power, or the sense of belonging they feel knowing under Donald Trumps America, they are seen as better.

Racism in America has been present way before Donald Trump came along, but before him, it was unacceptable. Racists would get shut down immediately if ever they publicly harassed someone. Now it's everywhere, and the people that are getting shut down are the ones trying to stop the racism. We are being called cry babies, being told to toughen up, all of the sudden the definition of being tough is tearing down a human being solely because of where they derive from. On Facebook, I shared an article about white children screaming "build that wall" in a school cafeteria while Latino students watched and cried. An actual response from a guy I went to school with, was "good." He proceeded to tell me that he finds it amusing and he will teach his kids not to be "pussies" and toughen up.

Overall, the biggest thing Donald Trump brings out in his followers is hate. Blaming immigration and refugees for our problems causes Donald's American's to stir on the thought, creating hate inside of them for a direct group (or race) of people. That may not be what he intended, considering Trump supporters will say he is 'in no way a racist'. But this is what he has done by behaving the way he does. It's disgusting to see people wanting to strip the human rights away from an individual based on their race, gender, sex, etc. His supporters take what he says, what he does, how he acts and they run with it.

My final note is this, Mr. President, if you truly meant no harm, if you support all humans equally and support their rights: stop this madness. Address those of your supporters that are becoming hateful, aggressive and extreme. Do not condone their behavior. Shut it down for the sake of our countries peace. I wish nothing but the absolute best for these next four years with you, and I hope you truly can make America great again.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
