It's no secret that dating in 2016 is a very fickle subject, especially among Millenials. Luckily, Jessica Day from "New Girl" knows the struggle all too well. How many of these moments have you experienced on your quest to find your Prince Charming or Sleeping Beauty?

1. Dry Spell

At the beginning of the endless cycle, you're usually in a dry spell. You may hate your life, like our friend Jessica, here. Do not fear, my friend, it will get better.

2. The Initial Sighting

You may be walking down the street, at a coffee shop, or be on a marathon swiping spree on Tinder. No judgment here. Wherever you found them, you see a cute new person with plenty of potential. Whatever you do, don't copy Jessica.

3. The Flirting

Your skills may be a little rusty, so you need to give them plenty of time to warm back up after that dry spell we discussed in number one. Make sure you practice just the right smile with your friends so that you don't end up looking like that. That's not fun for anyone involved.

4. It's Reciprocated!

You must have practiced your smile a little bit more than Jessica because congrats, he is showing interest. Now the real fun begins.

5. The Gossip

Of course, you have to fill your friends in on every detail. The screenshots of texts, the screenshots of Snapchats, ALL OF THE SCREENSHOTS. You have to send all of the screenshots in all of the group chats. It becomes basically like a second job, but it all pays off when you get the coveted seal of hotness from your best friends.

6. The Date

The fist date finally comes along and you're excited to sit across from this gorgeous human being for a while. Please do not stare like Jessica. It is creepy. It is weird. Please do not.

7. The Kiss

Beware, this could set the tone for the rest of your relationship. Too much tongue, no spark, or awkward nose-bumping. Be very careful during this step.

8. The Cupcake Stage

Everything they do is cute. Everything they do is perfect. The way they refuse to conform to regular social standards and will dance around the grocery story with you. They are *the best.*

9. The Trouble

Suddenly the way that they open the bag of chips from the bottom in order to challenge the traditionally held idea that there is a right and wrong way to open chips is incredibly irritating instead of adorably cute.

10. The Reality

If they can be crazy, so can you. You've reached the point in your relationship where you're finally allowed to show your crazy. Don't go too crazy, though. You may still scare him off.

11. The Realization

Maybe this guy wasn't exactly the best decision. But you know what, we all make mistakes . You just have to move on from it, and dump the dude.

12. The Alone Time

You may still be sad, even though you're the one that broke his poor little defenseless heart. You just need to be alone and jam out to your breakup playlist. There is no shame.

13. The Together Time

During this time period, you should probably have a babysitter at all times to keep you from texting him. Beg your friends if you have to, but you should not, under any circumstances, be left alone, especially with your thoughts.

14. The Surrender

Do you really want to be trapped in this cycle forever? There is only one way to break free. Accept your fate as our friend, Jessica, has.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
