Social dances require interacting with new people. You always run into people you love dancing with, but you’ve have to dance with someone new too. Here are nine thoughts that run through your head as you pair up and begin to sway.


1. Oh hey, they’re kinda cute.

That's a nice shirt and a killer smile!


2. Oh no, they’re going to think I suck at dancing.

I swear I know the triple step, I'm just nervous!


3. Do I smell okay?

I mean, we're all sweating. It's hot in here. But still.


4. Okay, okay. We’re doing okay. This is fine.

I've got my footing down. We can do this!


5. Oooh, look at them getting fancy.

I see you trying that spin. You've been practicing!


6. Hey, this is fun!



7. Aw, the song is ending.

I feel like it just started!


8. How do I thank them for the dance?

Do I hug them? Do I give them a high five?


9. I definitely want to dance with them again!

I hope I see them again next time!
