Watching the 2016 Olympics will have you feeling a roller coaster of emotions. You will start excited, but that will quickly escalate. You will probably also feel anxious, nervous, and even find yourself crying at the end of a match when they name the winner. Regardless if you are a fan or not of a sport, watching someone reach one of their life long dreams and sob on camera is a real tear jerker. Watching the crowd’s reactions is almost as good as the actual Olympics itself. Below are some of my favorite crowd reactions.
1. Aly Raisman’s parents
The Raisman parents were known for their ridiculously awkward reactions during the 2012 London Olympics, and this year they are back with their daughter in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Her parents sure do provide great entertainment and have very interesting ways of showing their anxiety by squirming around in their seat.
2. USA Men’s Basketball
While Kevin Durant, DeAndre Jordan, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, were some of the USA basketball players in attendance cheering for Michael Phelps and the rest of the USA swim team the cameras captured a funny moment. When Phelps won the race, Durant and Jordan were both filming and Durant quickly began jumping from excitement as they cheered. The video quickly went viral on vine but has since been taken down.
3. The McConaughey’s
Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves we’re some of the many celebrities in attendance. They too cheered for team USA’s swimmer Michael Phelps, and their many facial reactions we’re to die for. Their facial expressions went from joyful, to completely nutty.
