Many of you who may be reading this may know that I am now officially a freshman at University of Central Florida. Since UCF is about four hours away from my house, I have to dorm there. Moving can be pretty stressful but it can be a great experience. Shall we get started with my first college move in day? Let's go:

On June 23rd, my mother wakes up me at seven in the morning and I went to bed pretty late the night before because I was too excited to sleep! I am going to be in college for the very first time! AH! I got ready and ate some breakfast. We had to leave the house at 8 am. I said goodbye to my dad; he couldn't come because he had the flu but he will be helping me move again in the fall!

Our drive to Orlando was a pretty chill drive. There was no traffic, no crazy cars speeding, and no accidents; thank goodness! My mom and I listened to some good traveling tunes and it was great to sing along with my mom who by the way has an amazing voice.

We were getting close to the college campus and suddenly traffic appears! My mom and I look at each other and ask "WHY IS THERE TRAFFIC ALREADY?" There was a long line of cars going into the area of dorms where I was going to live for the summer. It literally took an hour to wait in line. As we were turning into the parking lot, there people giving out parking decals and that was why the line was so long and never ending!

We were able to park our car, finally! We see everyone with trolleys and we were wondering how did everyone have one. Were we supposed to buy one? So my mom and I couldn't find any trolleys so instead we carried everything ourselves. I had three huge black duffle backs that need to be escorted to my dorm to the third floor. My mom said to me,

"Caroline we got this! We are strong women!"

We carried my very heavy duffle bags to my dorm under the scorhing hot sun. Now since I am from Miami, I am used to Florida's hot heat. But Orlando's summers are a whole new level! It was one hundred degrees outside and there was no breeze! It was hot!

My mom and I made three trips back and forth to the car. It was very exhausting but hey it was a good workout! I had to fix my room up a little bit because my room looked very small so that meant moving things around. With the help of my roommates and my mom, I moved my bed, desk, and drawers around the room to make the room look "bigger." That was another great workout!

There was more things that I needed to get like toiletries, pillows (since I forgot my amazing one at home), and many other things that I forgot to bring. My mom and I went to the one and only: Walmart! The best place on earth because Walmart has everything! Literally. We made about five trips to Walmart to buy stuff but also return some things that I didn't need.

On the last day of moving, my mom saw a tent and she went over. Apparently, that tent was there the entire weekend and that was where you get the trolleys! We both looked at each other said wow!

Move in day was quite an experience. I want to thank my mom for helping me move but also dealing with my craziness while moving. It can be stressful because you are moving to a new town and in a new "home," but I can not wait for more move in days for the future at UCF!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
