It is upon us.
The game of football is finally back, more specifically, college football. Tailgates, loud stadiums and hundreds of college football programs kickoff the season this week. Here's what we can expect to see:
Biggest Bust:
Just like every other year, the Bulldogs will start in the top ten, but not live up to the hype. A few losses to some other powerhouses will spoil Georgia's year.
Biggest Sleeper:
No surprise, if you know me. I've been a lifelong Vols fan and the past ten years or so have been pretty rough. But this year is going to be the breakthrough for the orange and white. Butch Jones has brought in some top recruiting classes in his tenure in Knoxville and it's starting to show.
Playoff Predictions:
It pains me say it but Ohio State will probably be back in top four again this year. They are just too good. They are loaded with talent and will contend in the playoff
After being knocked out of the top four in the last week of the 2014 the Horned Frog are looking to be in picture no questions asked this year. The Big 12 is fairly week and besides Baylor, TCU can win it easily.
This one may be a bit of a stretch, but Oregon is still fast, still strong, and still looking better than ever. After Mariota's and a few other key player's departures the Ducks have some voids to fill. They can run the table and put themselves in the picture.
The last spot is a coin flip between the SEC's pride and joy. Alabama or Auburn will win the SEC West, then win the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, which will essentially be an automatic ticket into the top four positions. These teams are big, fast, strong and just flat out phenomenal programs.
Here's to another fun season of football games, fall weather, beer, and fun.
