For all the coffee lovers around UD, you have come to the right article! In my opinion, there are plenty of wonderful shops around Newark to either get some hard work done or just relax. Here are some the best coffee shops on Main Street - try these out!


1. Best Coffee Shop: Coffee Dates - Brew Ha Ha

Brew Ha Ha is one of the best places to go on coffee dates. Whether it's for sorority girl dates or catching up with an old friends, Brew Ha Ha has got you covered. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect to spend that a morning or afternoon with. Check out their specialty lattes because they are absolutely the best things on the face of the earth.

2. Best Coffee Shop: For Productivity/Work - Starbucks

Call me basic, but Starbucks is a really great place to work. The productivity vib is off the roof!! Also, after your first cup of coffee, the refills are only 50 cents! Try ordering a cup of coffee to go! Almost everyone is on their laptops or doing their homework in there, so you won't be the only one.

3. Best Coffee Shop for On the Go - Dunkin

Dunkin is the best place to go if you're in a hurry. There really is no atmosphere; however, its quick, convenient, and cheap. To all my coffee lovers out there, this might not be the best tasting coffee; however, to all my students who just need a shot of caffeine, this one is for you! Plus, you can get free coffee the next day after every Eagles win!

4. Best Coffee Shop for Quiet Thinking - Brewed Awakenings

The first thing that comes to mine when I think of Brewed Awakenings is how quiet it's in there. The shop is quite small and has cute little trinkets everywhere. Everyone is whispering, so it's good for work or just for some "me" time. Try a Mocha there!

5. Best Coffee Shop for Chilling - Central Perk

You can't leave out Central Perk! Besides the genius name, Central Perk has sofas you can sit on just to relax. Central Perk also displays artwork to give it that extra cozy factor. Order a blended drink and you won't be disappointed.
