As kids, buying toys seemed to be the perfect gift. And as the years went on, clothes and technology were great to buy. Now, as college students, the gifts we really want aren't necessarily ones you can wrap. And some you can't even buy...we can dream, can't we?
Here are just a few gifts that most college students would absolutely love to get this year for Christmas.
Gas.
Chances are we have our cars at school and spend a majority of our money filling our tanks with gas. Most of the time, we let it get as low as possible before we actually have to spend more money.
Student Loans Paid.
We might not have graduated yet but let's face it, we will have a ton of student loans to pay. In a perfect world, there would be no student loans to pay, but that's just not the case.
Food Store Gift Cards.
We all need food and, quite frankly, don't want to spend our own money on it. So what's better than spending someone else's money on food? And, because it's a gift card, we won't be tempted to spend it on anything other than food.
Money.
Plain and simple. Just give us some cash (or even a Visa gift card) and we would be more than happy. There's a number of possibilities of things we can do with it that, no matter what, we would be happy with it.
Socks.
People usually make the joke that college kids and adults only want socks but, honestly, the dryers always seem to eat them every time you do laundry. Plus, they're so comfy and they're not too expensive.
Unlimited Netflix Subscription.
Who doesn't love Netflix? But constantly wondering if you have the $8 or $9 every month to pay for your subscription can really cause some anxiety...especially if you're always broke.
Unlimited Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts Giftcard.
Caffeine is one of the top things that keeps college kids going through the semester with all their homework and studying. Most of the time, making your own coffee at home does the job but, if you're at the library or going to class, sometimes Starbucks or Dunkin will have to do.
Sweets.
Not everyone is this way but a lot of the college students I know love their sweets. Whether it be candy or cookies, it's a nice guilty pleasure a lot of us like to endulge in every once in a while.
And the one thing money can't buy (sadly)...Good Grades/GPA
We worked our asses off this semester to get good grades and have been hoping for good enough grades to bump our GPA up a little bit, even if we don't need it. Chances are, there is that one class we were endlessly worrying about that might end up not looking too good grade wise.
