9 Cheap, Last-Minute DIY Group Halloween Costumes

Here are nine easy group Halloween costumes if you don't have a lot of time or money!! They're really easy to make for groups big or small, and inexpensive too!

Four Seasons (and Vivaldi!)

Giphy

Be as creative as you want when making the Four Seasons costumes; bundle up for winter, whip out your best Hawaiian shirt for summer, so on and so on. And it's even better if someone in your group dresses up as Vivaldi! (Bonus points if you get the joke)

Care Bears

Giphy

You can personalize this costume however you want with just a plain color shirt, white felt, and some markers. Making some ears from felt and cotton balls isn't that hard or expensive either!

Cards Against Humanity

Giphy

This will definitely be a hit with the crowd on Halloween. Feel free to personalize these cards however you want, and mixing-and-matching will make for some hilarious group photos.

Fruit (Ninja?)

Giphy

Making a fruit costume isn't that hard because all you have to do is decorate a shirt, and you can really get creative and make any fruit you want. If you want to get super creative, you can harken back to 2010 and have some people in your group dress up as ninjas; all it takes is a few people to wear all black in addition to your creative fruit numbers and voila, Fruit Ninja!

M&Ms (or Skittles!)

Giphy

All you need is a T-shirt and some white felt or paint, easy as that! And you can have as many people in as many different colors if you want, so this is a great easy costume for big groups! And if you're more of a Skittles person, all you have to do is change the' to an 'S' and you're all set.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Giphy

A green shirt and some fabric paint makes this costume incredibly easy for anyone to make. Extra points if you make felt bandannas and/or tin cooking pan shells!

Dalmations (and Cruella)

Giphy

The only thing you need for this costume is a white shirt and a black marker, and maybe some black face paint as well. One person in your group could even throw on a dress and some white gloves and be Cruella!

Mimes

Giphy

All you need is black jeans, a striped shirt, and some face paint and you have the perfect mime costume! It's great for big groups and if anything, you'll only need to buy a cheap striped shirt and face paint, so it's very inexpensive too!

Kiss

Giphy

If you want to go more hardcore than a mime but still want some awesome face paint, the band, Kiss is a great option! Just throw on all black, paint your face, and stick your tongue out and you've got it on lock!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
