We have to admit sex is fun, dangerous, potentially a great way to pass time for most, and most importantly, sex is sex. We have to come to terms with talking about sex and being aware of the fun and pleasure, and also the downside to having sex. However, is sex all that?

Is sex the reason why half the world isn't happy?

Yes, there is a fact that sex can lead to happiness--or at least for the meantime it gives us a high. Sex is a key to a stable relationship, can't argue with that. It is innate and it is something that can help become more intimate in a relationship. If we ask scientists about this question, we might get mixed reviews. I don't think science can prove a feeling within a person. People are all different. We all can't feel the same things, although we can empathize with each other, never really know how one another feels. Sex is a good time for giving that feeling of being risque.

So on an emotional level, yes, sex can bring forth happiness.

I feel as if we all confuse the feeling of being wanted with sex. We love that feeling of being cuddled and being treated so well. We receive that through sex sometimes. It can get confusing with distinguishing the idea of the action and the feelings of it. We sometimes confuse that missing feeling of sex with what we truly miss in a relationship. We miss the tender, love, and care aspect of it. We miss the idea of having someone who needs us, wants us, and feels us on that intimate level. Well, it can be difficult to easily lose yourself in sex and get all those feelings within that moment.

In my experience, I never truly understood how to separate the idea of pleasure and the idea of what I wanted to happen.

I can't go around having sex with strangers—it'll hurt my ego and esteem. That is because I do tend to confuse all those feelings in sex with what I truly crave from a person. Meanwhile, people who do know how to truly separate the feelings add other activities, like blow-jobs, orgies, sex toys, sex positions, role-playing, etc. They keep alive the heat of passion while knowing that that is all they need.

Yes, this brings joy to many people!

This happiness that lives within the time period can truly only last if that person knows how to truly be fierce with themselves. Women are more subsided to a relationship type of sexual engagement, while men believe sex is good, and they need it. But we are all different, so it can work vice versa.

So now, can sex make you happy?

To an extent, it definitely can. It can bring up the most wonderful feelings, but it can also make you depressed and lonely when you are left alone after it. It all depends on who the person is, and who he/she goes about the topic. It is a very serious manner, especially when having too much sex can lead to unhappiness. Planning sex takes a lot of effort and thinking that having the double amount you already have can be a bit challenging. Then again, the fun times are the ones where it is spontaneous.
