The name Caitlyn Jenner may be a name we are all fairly too familiar with. She was formally named Bruce Jenner, who was once an Olympic icon after winning the gold medal in men's decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. Caitlyn is a transgender woman who was once referred to as Bruce Jenner and later went on to marry Kris Kardashian. After Caitlyn came out as being transgender, she started her show called 'I am Cait', where she explained a lot of her hardships and struggles of being a transgender woman.
'I am Cait' first aired on July 2015 and underwent through two seasons. The second season came to a close on April of this year. On the 16th of August, Caitlyn wrote this comment on twitter "After 2 amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it's time for the next adventure. Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for!" E! also came out a statement with, "Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue her journey as she appears on "Keeping Up with the Kardashian."
Some may be disappointed that the show will not be going through another season but Caitlyn Jenner isn't the only one who has a reality TV show about being a transgender. "I am Jazz" is a TV show on TLC about Jazz Jennings a transgender teenager having to grow up in a society where she is consistently being judged but not only her classmates but as well as the community she lives in. This show teaches you that you should never judge a book by its cover.
