A Bunch Of Things I'd Like To Say
NY Times

I'm the type of person who likes to know the purpose of doing something. Like just knowing what is the meaning behind something just always makes me feel a little better. That being said, I'm not sure what the main point of this article is. There are just so many things I'd like to talk about that I have no choice but to cram all of it into around 500 words...so here it goes. A few topics that I feel are important.

Positive self-image:

I do not care if you are a man or a woman, chances are you have had issues with the way you looked at yourself. Well I'm here to tell you to stop worrying. Life is too short to worry about things that you can not immediately change. Of you'd like to look a little different or "better" Then go for it. But don't do it in order to feel like other people may like you more, but do it because it is what makes you happy.

That Special Someone:

If you find yourself hopelessly attracted to someone in every single way, please tell them. I personally have not been able to do that when the time presented itself and it still eats at me, even though I still have time to do it. It is a lot easier to tell complete strangers advice than follow it yourself, so please listen to me. Life is too short to not be the happiest you can be with someome who makes you happy.

Other Peoples Problems:

Let's face it. No matter what way you look at it life gets hard sometimes. And it doesn't always have to happen to you, but it could happen to your friends or family. As someone who has, dealt with depression first hand I just want to tell you that all people need sometimes is for someone to listen. People don't expect you to just solve their problems, they just want to vent about them. So the next time someone you know is having a rough day, just talk to them. You have no idea how much it can help.

How to treat women:

Alright this one is very important to me, because I believe That if there is one thing a man should do well it should be the way he treats his partner. You have to understand a few things. It is critical to be polite and act like a gentleman. Because a woman doesn't want a boy, but a man. So treat her with respect and do not treat her like an object. Women are more than just a body, they have just as much to offer as anyone else. So do not use a woman for your own pleasures of you do not intend on being everything else too.

Sorry if you didn't like the format of this article....no I'm not. I hope you people enjoy it and I will do more like it in the future.

Yours truly,

Ryan Jordan

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
