Sophomore year is quickly approaching and I want to take full advantage! There were plenty of lessons I learned freshman year, plenty of things that I loved and want to do again, and a few things that I'd rather they stayed in the past.
Take advantage of college, the city you're in, and the people you meet. I know I will be. I'm heading 3,000 miles from home AGAIN, and plan on making the most of every second of it!
1. Go to a Timeflies concert
To all the Philly Timeflies fans, they will be there October 17.
2. See 'Yonce at Made in America
She is the Queen B!3. Play in the campus fountain with my BFF
4. Make new friends
5. Go to a Phillies game
What sport is that again?
6. See the Philly skyline at night
I hear it's gorgeous, but I've lived in Philly for nine months and have never seen it! That is just sad.
7. Go to the Reading Terminal Market
I love food. I love markets. Enough said.
8. Lose the Freshman 15
9. Go to the U.S. Open
...again.
10. Go to a show on Broadway
11. Take the train to D.C., NYC, and anywhere else my heart desires
12. Take advantage of all the opportunities I can
13. Run the Rocky Steps with the Rocky theme song playing on my iPod
14. Have a Susherito aka a sushi burrito
It just happens to be two of my favorite foods in one dish.
15. Go to other sporting events besides Basketball
There are other sports, even at Nova (Jay Wright will always be bae though).
16. Leave my fear of rejection at home
Maybe I'll make it a game and see how many times I can get rejected. There's a Ted Talk on that, you know!
17. Be true to myself
18. HAVE FUN!
Life is too short to not enjoy the moment.
Here's to a fantastic year with all my fellow sophs!
