It’s become popular to associate Trump supporters with KKK members or racists in general by virtue of them being Republican.
If you believe that all Republicans are racist by default, how do you account for a black man being ahead of Trump for a short time in the Republican primaries? This same black man, Dr. Ben Carson, endorsed Donald Trump after he lost. Seems like a strange phenomena in a party of racist white supremacists.
Maybe the republican is not a party of racist white supremacists. Maybe the Republican Party has a variety of adherents.
In the House of Representatives, we currently have Allen West, Mia Love, Tim Scott, and Will Hurd representing their districts as Republicans.
In the public world of Twitter and Youtube, there’s Anthony Brian Logan, who calls Black Lives Matter “black lies matter” in his videos. Alfonzo Rachel hosts a talk show “The Zo Loft” and “Zonation” where he responds to liberal claims and personal attacks. The Doctor of Common Sense hosts a very emotional Youtube channel. On Twitter, The Bearded Black Cowboy hosts his own radio show. All of them are outspoken conservatives. You can find more if you want on the wonderful world of the internet.
“They’re exceptions to the rule.”
You don’t think it’s racist to assume that black people will vote for Democrats because they’re black?
It’s true that the majority of black people identify as Democrats, but not all of them do. Even those who identify as Democrats don’t necessarily agree with everything on their party's platform. The same is true of black people who identify as Republicans.
People are different. People are individuals. People will vote according to their consciences. The shade of brown your skin is does not determine how you vote.
