2015 was a great year for sports and I am here to recap it. Don't worry it will be all videos so there's very little reading required. You didn't think I would actually make you read over the break, did you?
MLB
The MLB season was a passing of the torch from the veterans with whom we are familiar, to the up-and-coming rookies.
Alex Rodriguez got his 3,000th hit and, despite anyone's feelings about his possible off-the-field enhancements, continued to solidify his position as one of the greatest hitters of all time.
David Ortiz hit his 500th home run and, similarly to A-Rod, continued to solidify his position as one of the greatest hitters of all time, despite anyone's feelings about his possible off-the-field enhancements. There were also a number of rookies who stole the show in 2015, starting with pretty much every position player on the Cubs, a team full of explosive, young bats that was able to make it to the NLCS despite no pitching beyond their number one starter. That all centered around this guy.
You know I had to include at least one of the big guy.
And without a doubt, the greatest bat-flip, Vine and anything to happen in Toronto in MLB history:
NFL
The NFL's 2015 season started with Marshawn Lynch being Marshawn Lynch.
And then, without a doubt, the dumbest play call in NFL history:There have also been a number of surprising teams this year, like the Panthers leading the NFC and the Jets and Texans currently in line for playoff spots. And then there's the same old Browns.
Who would have thought this would be the year's most memorable vine of Odell Beckham?
NBA
In all honesty, it would disrespectful to include anything that was not Steph Curry, so just enjoy some of his highlights so far.
Oh and this guy is pretty good too.
NHL
This is the section where I would post all of the awesome hockey clips from this season but instead, I am not going to. This is for two reasons. First, I realize no one cares about hockey other than myself and like three other people who are probably reading this. Secondly, as a disgruntled Rangers fan, I am just going to pretend the hockey season is not happening right now until they start winning again. So instead of me wasting time finding Patrick Kane vines, I'm just going to go back to watching bowl games.
For any great moments I might have missed, be sure to yell at me below and tell me how little I know about sports.
