It's no secret that I love the Olympics. Despite NBC's problematic coverage of the Games, it is amazing to see athletes such as Simone Biles, Simone Manuel, and Katie Ledecky make history. Almost as enjoyable as watching the athletes, however, is watching how their family reacts to the Olympians' successes in the stands. Here are two Olympic families whose reactions are too precious for words as they watch their loved ones compete in the most prestigious athletic competitions in the world. Enjoy!
1. Rick Raisman and Lynn Faber
Aly Raisman's parents are back with their daughter for the 2016 Olympics looking more nervous than ever! Throughout all of Aly's routines, Rick and Lynn squirmed, flinched, and covered their eyes in an impressive and adorable display of nervous energy. Admittedly, as I watched Aly during the all-arounds, before her earned her silver medal, her parent's anxious reactions were very relatable. However, we shouldn't have worried, because Aly performed beautifully and dominated in all of her events. Here is a video of the Raisman parents during their daughter's balance beam routine in Rio.

2. Nicole Johnson and son Boomer Phelps/Debbie Phelps
What could be cuter than 2-month old Boomer Phelps in his patriotic noise-cancelling headphones as he cheers on his dad Michael? Here, Phelps's infant son and his fiance Nicole Johnson, a Miss California pageant winner, cheer on the world's greatest swimmer as he wins gold in the 200m individual medley.

You'd think that maybe after 5 Olympics, mom Debbie Phelps would get used to seeing her superstar son win medals and break records. However, I guess that being able to proudly watch your child's hard work pay off in the most competitive swimming race in the world is something that doesn't get old. Here, in 2016, Debbie Phelps looks just as excited to cheer on her son as she did in the Olympic games of 2000, when he was just 15.
