Oh, Netflix, the biggest distraction in the world. Constantly coming up with amazing shows and then I binge them all day and don't get anything accomplished. Always getting the question "Are you still watching?" Now, there are a lot of good shows on Netflix but this list Is about the 10 that you need to watch. You will be glad that you did!

1.Stranger Things

This show needs very little explanation, its amazing go watch it. Millie bobby brown is in it and she the best. Season three comes out later this year so defiantly go get caught up.

2. Santa Clarita Diet

Another zombie show? Yes, but honestly it isn't your typical zombie show, its funny and the casting is impeccable. The banter between all the different characters is great, it's enjoyable to watch. There are only two seasons but there is another one in the works.

3. One Day at a Time

This show is about a Latin family that is just trying to live their life one day at a time. All of the characters really mesh well with one another. As of right now there are two seasons but a third one Is coming out in 2019.

4.Grace and Frankie

Two really great actresses play best friends who's husbands end up falling in love with each other. its hilarious and you won't be able to stop watching. there are four seasons as of right now but there is another one in the works and premieres sometime early next year.

5. Queer Eye

The fab 5 is going to make you laugh, cry, smile, and a whole lot of other emotions. They go around the country helping people feel better about themselves , help them see that they are amazing just the way they are. Season three is already filming, YASSSSSSSSSSSSS

6. Baby Ballroom

So ballroom dancing sounds like something older couples would do, but in England, it is a full-fledged sport. These kids are amazing, they are coached by Ballroom legends themselves. It is defiantly worth a watch, there are 2 seasons as of right not but a third on the way.

7. The End of the F***ing World

It's a bit of a darker story but still a good show none the less. Its funny, romantic, and serious all at the same time. Two kids who run away together because of their own problems, and end up finding love. Only one season but still really good.

8. Bloodline

DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA!! This is a show that is meant to have you sitting on the edge of your seat, with all of the twist and turns. The first season is the best out of the three. Oh, and it was filmed in my hometown.

9. A Serious of Unfortunate Events

Based off of a best selling novel, it was made into a movie in the early 2000s but now its a tv series that is funny and stressful but action-packed all at the same time. Defiantly binge-worthy.

10. Gilmore Girls : A Year In the Life

While "Gilmore Girls" wasn't originally a Netflix original, they made a miniseries. It brings back all of your favorite characters from the original and brings a smile to your face. now if you haven't seen "Gilmore Girls" then you defiantly watch that and then come back and watch this.

Netflix will always be a go-to for when you need an escape from the real world. Now go and watch these 10 shows you won't regret it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
