College isn’t just about becoming independent and getting a degree, but rather it’s about making friends of a lifetime. You have to be able to connect with those friends on a certain level and become a legit family and that’s me and my two best friends Cara and Simran.
I’m so thankful and grateful for my girls because we do everything together and we’re always there to help each other out. The best part of all is that we’re also all communication majors so therefore, we have classes together too. Every new experience that is presented our way, we experience it together firsthand. Whether it’s filming in our television production class or trying out new drinks and food places, we always take part in these events with each other.
It is true, however, that we are those types of girls who stick together and are always together but we’re happy with that. We’re the infamous trio and we enjoy each other’s presence, which is all that really matters.
Both Simran and Cara have now become literal sisters to me and without them, my college experience wouldn’t be as great as it is now. It’s extremely evident that having classes together with your two best friends can make class quite interesting and much more exciting to be in. Although, breaks are fun too because you get to explore and go on adventures together as well as eating really good food, or shopping for makeup, which is quite simply what portrays our friendship.
In the end, school may be just school, but it’s definitely not so extraneous when you have your best friends to look forward to as they accommodate you by your side at all times. It’s even better when best friends come in three’s because if one’s not available you always have the other, and you also get the chance to get a second opinion, which for us girls works out perfectly.
It makes me sad that we three live far away from each other, but it also makes me happy when there are those days where we travel the distance to spend a whole day in the city together going on new journeys and gaining experience. They are the best friends a girl wishes to have and I admit I am extremely thrilled and lucky to have them in my life!
