A Letter To My High School Best Friends

Thank you, guys. Thank you for always sticking by my side no matter what. Thank you guys for all the late nights, the food runs, the breakups, breakfast and lunch dates, car rides with the top down screaming our favorite songs, the fights and the hundreds of sleepovers. I could never thank y'all enough for being my biggest support group when I decided to move 500 miles away for college. No matter how far away we are, and no matter how long we go without seeing each other, I always know I have someone to count on.

I'm not really even sure how we all became friends or when it happened, but I wouldn't trade you guys for the world. We started off as a bigger group of friends but as we all grew up and grew apart, our group got smaller and I found out who my true friends are. So thank you to the three girls who stuck by me. You know exactly who you are. Through growing in high school, graduation, the going away parties the summer before we started our lives outside of Diana, and two of us moving to states completely across the US from each other, we stuck together. Which just makes the small amount of time we all four have together that much special.

I found the three people I want in my life forever. I found the three girls who will stand next to me on my wedding day, and be there to celebrate the major milestones in my life. No one could ever replace the bond I have with you guys. No one will ever be able to make me laugh as much as y'all do, and I'm so freaking happy God chose y'all to be the best things that ever happened to me.

No matter where we go in life, or where we end up, just always know you have a friend to come to. You will ALWAYS have a shoulder to cry on when things get tough, and a hand to hold when the journey gets too hard to travel alone. So here's to the three girls who helped me become who I am, who helped me get over numerous breakups, who helped me figure out who I was when I lost myself, to the friends who helped me through things I couldn't have gotten through by myself. I love y'all more than words could ever say. Thank you for coming into my life at the right time and sticking by me through my worst and my best. Thank you guys for making the bad days good and the good days even better. I'll love y'all forever.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
