To my long distance best girl friend,

First off, I miss you. And I'm sorry I don't see you that often. I wish I could come home so much more often. You'd probably think I'm a much better friend if I did!

Secondly, thank you so much for understanding that I am always super busy! Between work and school, I can almost never come home and see you. I'm glad you understand that I'm busy almost all of the time and that homework and work keeps me on the grind. Plus, your work schedule keeps you super busy! With both of us adulting. I life can get pretty hectic sometimes. You never get upset with me when I can't talk and you don't ever make me feel bad for doing what's best for me. I'm so grateful to have you in my life.

Most importantly, thank you for proving that long distance relationships can work. When I'm down, you are there to cheer me up. When I have exciting news, you are the first one to hear it! You are always a quick phone call or text away. You share all of my articles, you always take a thousand and one pictures of us when we're together, and you're always there when I need to vent. We have made plenty of memories, from the way we met and became friends to when you come down from home and take on Purdue with me!

We have only been friends for a couple of years, but you are one of the most wonderful people I know. You deserve the best in the whole world and I want you to know that. You know me inside and out and you are one of the most genuine, beautiful, honest, and caring people I know. I am pretty sure you know everything and anything about me!

Of course, you have your other best friends and I have my other best friends, too. I even have my friends here at school! But nothing beats a home best friend! So, thank you for being my best friend. Thank for always being there for me. Thank you for making time to see me when I come home or coming down to see me! You're always so welcoming and caring to me and no one could ever replace you! We have the best times together and you never fail to make smile! Thank you for all of our memories and here's to many, many more!
