Long-distance relationships are one thing but long-distance friendships are a whole other story. My best friend lives with her husband in Arizona and I miss her every day.
She's a year older than me and went to high school with me. She'd wait for me outside my history class almost every day. We cheered together during my freshman year, had Drama class my sophomore year, and spent half of every day together my junior year. We went to Lake of the Ozarks to shop and told each other everything on the way.
Post Malone and Bazzi have our hearts. We'd jam out to them everywhere we went. She got me hooked a McDouble plain add Mac Sauce. I would feed her chicken nuggets when we'd go Camdenton so she could keep both hands on the wheel. We would vent about anything and everything.
When I got told "don't tell anyone!", she was the first one I told. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her or miss her. I see things that make me think of her all the time. We both are obsessed with vintage clothing. For example, Harley tees, Guess sweatshirts and tees, etc.
I've never met anyone else that has made me laugh as hard as she does. I trust her with my life. I've never met someone who acts more like a big sister to me in my life. We have so much in common it's scary. In class, we'd always get in trouble for just having random bursts of laughter.
We would always say sarcastic comments under our breath when we saw someone did mutually didn't like. I have never met anyone who I can relate to more in my life than her. I love you lots Mads and I can't wait to see you again.
