Need some extra help this semester staying productive? Looking for some apps to help you? I have found some apps that have helped me last semester stay organized and productive. Here is the top ten apps for productivity to help you this semester.
10. Office Lens
This is a great app if you are confronted with papers you need to take a picture of. This app takes a picture, will save it into a folder (like One Note) and then allow you to print it out.
9. HP E Print
If you have an HP printer, this is a great app for printing from your phone. Just take a picture, or pick an existing one, add your printer in and print from your phone!
8. Sleep Better
This app is great because it uses the time that you are closest to your lightest sleep, and wakes you up at that time. This helps you feel less tired and groggy when you wake up. You set in the time you want to wake up, and the app will wake you up sometime a half hour before the time you set. It really does make a difference. I used it last semester, and woke up feeling much more awake and less tired!
7. JotterPad
This app is great for writing down thoughts quickly. I use this app to write my Odyssey ideas when I get them, and general other information I want to remember. Its easy to use, and you can sort everything quite nicely.
6. Wunderlust
Tired of wasting paper writing down to-do lists? Wunderlust is perfect since you can organize your lists, and then organize them into sub categories as well.
5. Yogaia
Yoga has been proven again and again to have significant health benefits when practiced regularly. Anyone and everyone can do yoga, no matter if your male, female, big or little, it doesn't matter. It is all about taking your time and learning the poses at your own pace, while breathing deeply, and learning to relax. Yogaia is a great app for someone just starting, or more experienced, and cannot make it to a class. The class is brought to you with this app. You can chose your level, and then watch recorded lessons, or jump in on a live class and get actual feedback from the instructor. So roll out your mats, and stretch into downward dog, breath and relax.
4. Stop, Think, Breath
Going along with yoga, meditation is another powerful tool to help you relax and get into focus. Stop, Think, Breath is a guided mediation app to help you relax and learn how to meditate. Remember, meditation, just like yoga, is a practice, you must learn how to do them to get better. You cannot go and meditate for the first time ever thinking you will be great at it. It will take time and practice before you are able to sit for long periods of time, the only thing you are focused on is your breathing.
3. My Study Life
Tired of carrying around a piece of paper with your schedule on it? My Study Life allows you to put your classes, teachers, room numbers and even colorize it. It helps you keep track of homework and tests as well. I have used it for both semesters, and it is really great.
2. MyHomework
This app is much like My Study Life but with one extra feature. You can do everything My Study Life offers, as well as add in meeting times for clubs and such. It also has a wider list of reminders you can put in as well.
1. Nimbus Note
This app is great. The biggest feature of this is the note taking portion, but you can also draw pictures (for those pesky diagrams in chemistry), insert pictures, make a to-do list, and even record lectures while taking notes at the same time. You can get it on your computer and phone, so you always have your notes with you wherever you go!
