For as long as I can remember, I've always been one who craved to live a life worth telling. I mean don't we all? Life is a short, sweet gift that we must attempt to make the most of. And you never know when this gift can be taken away from you. In the time I have, I want to truly live before I die. So I made a bucket list. I don't want just a summer or winter or spring break bucket list though, I want a life bucket list. I want a list of things that I can check off throughout my entire life, and know that if I even accomplished just a portion of these, that I've lived a life I can proudly take with me to the grave. And so, with that being said, here it is. The list of 85 things I must do, or attempt to do anyhow, before the day I pass on. Before I die I want to:
1. Go skydiving.
2. Stay up all night and watch the sunrise.
3. Take a road trip through all 50 states.
4. Learn a new language.
5. Ride an elephant in Thailand.
6. Run a marathon.
7. Backpack through a foreign country.
8. Constantly let those around me know that I love them.
9. Fly in a hot air balloon.
10. Sing in front of an audience.
11. Go stargazing.
12. Buy a spontaneous plane ticket to the first flight that I can get on, and travel there.
13. Be an extra in a movie.
14. Conquer my biggest fear.
15. Fall in madly, deeply, and head-over-heels in love.
16. Get a job that I love.
17. Give at least 5 hugs a day.
18. Take a selfie with a celebrity.
19. Find the “Full House" house.
20. Swim with dolphins.
21. Have a coffee date with a stranger.
22. Marry the love of my life.
23. Send a message in a bottle.
24. Plant a tree and watch it grow.
25. Teach someone how to read.
26. Do P90X.
27. Win the lottery.
28. Get verified on Twitter.
29. Be the maid of honor at my best friend's wedding.
30. Make up a word and have it be in the dictionary.
31. Buy a house in my name.
32. Donate a large amount of money to charity.
33. Adopt.
34. Have a big family.
35. Start a business and be on "Shark Tank."
36. Dye my hair a crazy color.
37. Memorize a piece of literature in it's entirety.
38. Write a book and have it published.
39. Learn an instrument.
40. Have actual Belgium waffles in Belgium
41. Go to a Broadway show.
42. See equality.
43. Have a picnic in Central Park.
44. Participate in a flashmob.
45. Go to Coachella.
46. Make a call from a London phone booth.
47. Apply to Harvard, just to receive a rejection letter, and frame it.
48. Break a Guinness world record.
49. Cook a 10 course meal.
50. Buy a star and name it after myself (because I'm a star).
51. Bury a time capsule and open it with my grandchildren.
52. Donate blood.
53. Protest something.
54. Drive without a destination.
55. Remake a childhood home video.
56. Get in a taxi and yell “FOLLOW THAT CAR."
57. Win a bet.
58. Go to the Houston rodeo.
59. Go swing dancing with my dad.
60. Live in New York City for a summer.
61. Make Ryan Gosling eat cereal.
62. Leave my handprint in wet cement.
63. Pray every night.
64. Have Ed Sheeran's voice turned into a candle scent.
65. Make a Buckingham Palace guard laugh.
66. Play a prank on someone, video tape it, and make it go viral.
67. Ride a limo, dress up fancy, and eat at McDonalds with a big group of friends.
68. Help to plan someone's proposal.
69. Make Heeley's a thing again.
70. Party in Austin.
71. See a need, meet a need.
72. Tell a stranger to “Call me maybe."
73. See the Northern Lights.
74. Eno over a waterfall.
75. Wear converse to an important event.
76. Own a vinyl collection.
77. See a woman become president.
78. Visit a nursing home and hear someone's life story.
79. Tell my parents “thank you", for everything.
80. Forgive those that hurt me.
81. Live life with “no ragrets" (not even a single letter).
82. Leave my footprint in as many countries as possible.
83. Be a role model.
84. Laugh as much as I possibly can.
