20 Things I Want to Do in My 20's

It's kind of scary very scary how your 20's are considered your last "young" decade. So here's a bucket list of 20 fun things that I would love to accomplish in my 20's. Oh yeah and let's go ahead and add number 21: actually do all of these!

1. Go on a legit camping trip. And I'm talking actual tents, no technology, real hiking, fear of being eaten by bears... just me, my friends, and mother nature.

2. Pilot an airplane.

3. Go to a restaurant and try every single thing on the menu. Maybe not all at once, but over a period of time... Or all at once.

4. Spend Christmas at Disney World.

5. Take a selfie in every state.

6. Ride a water taxi in Venice.

7. Go to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

8. Get in a taxi and scream "follow that car!" And then apologize for making the poor taxi driver's life so much harder.

9. Leave a waitress a tip double my meal.

10. Ride an elephant.

11. Go to an airport and buy a ticket for a random flight. Let's just hope I don't end up with somewhere completely boring like... Ohio.

12. Go to a "Fashion Week" and act like I deserve to be there.

13. Take a ballroom dancing class.

14. Drive down Route 66 while blasting the song. You know the one.

15. Watch the ball drop on New Year's Eve in Times Square.

16. Be one of those people waving in the background of the Today Show.

17. Have a "Chopped" competition with my friends. Have another set of friends pick random ingredients for a basket and have a cook off. Only rule: the food has to be edible!

18. Find someone's lost pet and return it.

19. Actually finish a journal. Has anyone ever finished a journal to the very last page? Doubt it.

20. Capture a stranger's proposal on camera.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
