Beating Bama Made Being National Champions A Little Sweeter

Here I am at an ungodly hour having a hard time being calm and can't stop smiling. It took Clemson 35 years to get to this point - the point where we are National Champions again. We have dethroned Alabama and boy, it feels good. I'm too young to have seen it all but I endured a few Bowden years of talented teams inexplicably losing to teams they should not lose to, the 6-7 seasons, the 70-33 humiliation in Miami, and five consecutive years of losing to Steve Spurrier as well as the painful lost to Pitt this season. This game was all for Clemson fans but I would like to think its especially for us who bore witness to those times and the program that Dabo has managed to forge out of it. We came further and faster than I could have ever imagined. Every big game Clemson was told they didn't have the tools to win; it turned out they did. We made it, we're here, National Champions. And, no, Clemson players are not a fraud.

Want to play us again Ohio, South Carolina, Alabama?

Nothing sweeter than beating Bama and there are many reasons why.

1. Nick Saban is a miserable asshole -

While it wouldn't be fair of me to judge his personality, there's no denying the fact the man lacks enthusiasm and has a stupid smug tattooed on his face at all times. I am a fan of ones who are never satisfied but golly, even when ya win the National Championship... he's still upset.

Could you smile just a little? You and your team won the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Guess that's not worth smiling over though, is it?

2. Dabo -

He loves the fans and his players. He is one who hosts pizza parties and rocks the best dance moves. He also isn't shy about his core beliefs, making him even more lovable and the win a whole lot sweeter.

3. Deshaun -

He's life. He is not only the best quarterback in the nation, he is extremely humble.

4. SEC fans are an obnoxious breed -

It's hard not to hate SEC. They're attached to the most obnoxious fans and the most talented players. They're intolerable for plethora of reasons. They have dominated the football world and it sure is nice to dethrone them.

5. We beat Bama -

We wanted Bama and we got them! Alabama is one who kept winning. They dominated the world of football making it nearly impossible for any other SEC team to have a chance. It's obnoxious UNTIL YOU BEAT EM!

i'm sure it does, buddy. Roll tears roll.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
