STOP NORMALIZING HATE

I would’ve voted for Trump too…

  • if I believed that the sanctity of marriage and so many other institutions are perverse and being demoralized by homosexuality
  • If I was able to ignore the offensive things he’s said because, at the end of the day, none of it was towards people like me
  • If I didn’t believe that our planet needs to be nurtured and taken care of
  • If I believed that the way to address Latinx and African American Communities was to criminalize their environments
  • If I had no other concerns except those that are economic
  • If my reproductive rights weren’t at risk
  • If the KKK and Neo-Nazis that so fervently support Trump, pose no threat to me and my family
  • If I believed that his comments against women were just locker room talk
  • If I wasn’t an ally for LGBTQ+ humans
  • If I was so privileged to look at bigotry as a small character flaw...

But as soon as he won, everyone stopped talking about these things...

So, how do we save America from getting sucked into the normalization of Neo-Nazis, racism, xenophobia, Anti-Semitism, Alt-right movements, threats to women's rights....?

Because all of a sudden everyone stopped talking about it.... and it's beginning before our eyes...

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
