Ariana Grande is proving herself to be the celebrity version of the gift that keeps giving and the queen of comebacks. The need for a comeback may not have been from a scandal, but instead from tragedies and major life events. We can all agree she has had one rough year and so would she. Most people would take a lengthy break after ending an engagement and losing someone they cared for, but not Ariana Grande. She has been releasing new music and videos left and right.

She released "thank u, next" which name-dropped her ex's. Name dropping can be risky and it can come across as tacky, but not for Ariana Grande. She managed to make "thank u, next" about self-love and growing from the pain.

Another gift she has provided this year is her music video for "thank u, next", which quickly broke records. (She managed to break the record for most views in 24 hours, which was originally set by BTS and Taylor Swift.) The video is packed full of appearances from The Victorious cast (hello, childhood memories!), Troye Sivan, Kris Jenner and various popular youtubers. She also recreated some of the most iconic movies of the early 2000's (I was not prepared for the Mean Girls dance scene.) Basically, the whole music video is iconic. Then she released not one, but three behind the scene videos for the music video.

Then there are the docuseries Dangerous Woman Diaries, which is a multi-part behind the scenes look at her tour and the recording process of Sweetener. If you need something to binge watch now that finals are over, this is it. Dangerous Woman Diaries is available on Youtube Red, the first episode is free to stream.

Oh and not to mention, she has already released an entire album this year entitled Sweetener. She also released several videos and singles from it. As if that was not enough, she now has another album on the way.

She also released her tour dates for 2019.

For any fan of Ariana Grande, this has been the year where she keeps on giving. She has released multiple videos, an album, countless singles and many hints as to what is to come. She also has become an example of how to handle a bad year and a breakup. She's proven you have a life-changing year and still keep going. She also has shown you do not have to drag your ex to over the past. She's become an example for loving yourself through a breakup.

Her next single, Imagine, comes out Thursday and it is sure to be a bop.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
