The need for a comeback may not have been from a scandal, but instead from tragedies and major life events. We can all agree she has had one rough year and so would she. Another gift she has provided this year is her music video for "thank u, next", which quickly broke records. (She managed to break the record for most views in 24 hours, which was originally set by BTS and Taylor Swift.) The video is packed full of appearances from The Victorious cast (hello, childhood memories!), Troye Sivan, Kris Jenner and various popular youtubers. She also recreated some of the most iconic movies of the early 2000's (I was not prepared for the Mean Girls dance scene.) Basically, the whole music video is iconic. Then she released not one, but three behind the scene videos for the music video.

Then there are the docuseries Dangerous Woman Diaries, which is a multi-part behind the scenes look at her tour and the recording process of Sweetener.
