A terrible darkness sinks deep inside

I can't get these voices out of my mind

The doctor asked me what was wrong

She asked where is your light; where is your song?

"I lost it Doctor, but don't you see

This isn't how I'm meant to be"

Ever since that day, my mind has started to stray

Into darkness and dark thoughts it seemed to stay

But Doctor can't you see, it's hard to get better when you lost that spark

When you were traumatized and left in the dark

My dear, don't you see, this isn't how you're meant to be

You are here due to this terrible tragedy

Why didn't I say goodbye

None of them ever deserved to die

Darling you are here for a reason

Now while this one session won't help overnight

Trying to see the good little by little will help bring back that light

Eventually, this darkness will go away

Although you won't forget who you've lost

You'll become stronger and wiser than you were before.
