Another President, Another Inauguration.

In the light of recent events, it is impossible to shy away from January 20th's controversial transfer of power to America’s 45th President: Donald Trump. His domination has undoubtedly sparked immense conflict between Americans. To some, he is a symbol of hope in the ever crumbling structure of America’s foundation. To others he is represents the worst President in American history. Nevertheless, Donald Trump is our President and Americans can do nothing more then judge his decisions and hope that he keeps the interests of all Americans to heart.

Amidst Trump’s Inauguration, the seeds of rebellion spread through his opponents. There have been riots throughout the country with the most predominant one being in Washington D.C. There have been reported that a limo was set ablaze, store windows were smashed and nearly 200 people were arrested. This type of “protest” will accomplish nothing and ultimately hurts America as a whole. However, the controversy surrounding the Inauguration doesn’t stop at riots, the Twitter for the National Parks Service retweeted an image comparing the crowds between Obama’s 2009 Inauguration and Trump’s 2017 Inauguration. This unprofessional retweet ultimately resulted in all Department of Interior Bureaus “to immediately cease use of government Twitter accounts until further notice.”

Trump is America’s 45th President. There is no denying this fact. However, Trump will eventually be out of office in 4 to 8 years. During these 4 to 8 years, the Sun will continue to rise and set and we can do nothing more then continue to live our lives and hope that Trump truly does “Make America Great Again” regardless of his beliefs or questionable past.
