90s babies are known for being nostalgic and to be honest, can you really blame us? The 70s were the decade of peace and love, the 80s were the decade of Rock N' Roll, and we were the decade that experienced it all. It was the decade of boy bands, scrunchies, and playing outside until the sun went down. Us 90s kids really did it the best and here are 30 things that only 90s babies will remember:

1. We were texting before texting was a thing

2. We were also there when the original fortune teller was created

3. And let’s not forget M.A.S.H. (aka the greatest, most unrealistic game ever played)

4. The Original Running Man

5.Going to Blockbuster and yes, renting VHS tapes

6. The Nintendo 64

7. And of course all of the amazing games that came with it

8. The Gameboy Color

9. The one pencil that was great until you lost one of the parts

10. And also doing this even though no one could write with that small of a pencil

11. Getting overly excited for the book fair

12. The dreaded AR test

13. The struggle of having to record your ringtone

14. Two Words: Gel Pens

15. The manual pencil sharpener

16. Tamagotchi’s (bet you just realized that you haven't feed it in like, forever)

17. Getting super excited when your teacher brought out the projector

18. And even more excited when you got to watch “Bill Nye: The Science Guy” (and yes, it’s okay to be singing the theme song in your head right now)

19. And even MORE excited getting to watch this

20. The wonder ball

21. Lisa Frank supplies was a must

22. Backstreet Boys, Brittany Spears, N'SYNC, etc.

23. Disney Channel Original Movies

24. Scrunchies

25. Having to carry around your CDs AND your CD player

26. Actually playing outside because it was fun not because you had too

27. These things were the great until you ran over your finger

28. Beanie Babies

29. MTV's TRL

30. And quite possible the thing we miss the most, our beloved TV Shows

So no matter what you other kids think, 90s Kids will always have the best childhood.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
