Thinking about growing up in the 1990s really got me thinking about a lot of things I missed and or remembered. There were so many - 90 to be exact - that I just had to make a list.

1. You’ve ended a sentence with the word “SIKE!”
2. You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on Saturdays to watch cartoons.
3. My name is Junie B. Jones. The “B” is stands for Beatrice. Except I don’t like Beatrice. I just like B and that’s all.
4. You remember when MTV only showed music videos.
5. If you didn’t dream of participating on Supermarket Sweep, then you’re lying.
6. You still miss milky pens.
7. You always said, “Then why don’t you marry it!”
8. "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" was both a game and television game show.
9. You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day at school.
10. You remember when Tickle Me Elmo and Furbies were the “IT” toys.
11. You know the difference between a noun, verb, and adjective thanks to Mad Libs.
12. You fought over who got to be the Red Ranger with your friends.
13. You knew the dance routine to “The Macarena.”
14. Unless you grew up lost in the Himalayas, you owned at least one Koosh Ball.
15. You willingly wore the snapper tracksuit bottoms despite knowing that someone would rip them open at any given moment.
16. You worried your Tamagotchi would get separation anxiety when you were at school.
17. Before text messaging, you were a pro at folding and passing notes.
18. You debated with your friends how Rose could have saved Jack.
19. Bullet Bill was your nemesis on Super Mario Brothers.
20. Opal Fruits and Skittle Yo-Yos were playground currency.
21. You always dreamed of being slimed on Nickelodeon

23. A staple clothing item was blue jean overalls and Doc Martens.
24. Kids today will never experience the joy you had with your Gameboy.

26. The only sure thing about luck is that you had to have a rabbit’s foot.
27. You spent hours picking the hair out of your silly putty.

33. Your fashion inspiration was based off of 90210.
34. Boy Meets World, Roseanne, Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, Dawson's Creek, Saved By The Bell, 90210, 7th Heaven, CatDog, The Angry Beavers, Dexter's Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, and Rocko's Modern Life were the best shows ever!
35. You personally owned the book “Where’s Waldo.”
36. Bill Nye the Science Guy taught you the only science worth knowing since third grade.
37. You knew Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen collectively as Michelle Tanner.
38. You remember playing Tag, Hide-n-Go Seek, Red Light Green Light, Kick Ball, Dodge Ball, Mother May I, Four Square, Tetherball, Skip-It, Flashlight Tag, Red Rover, and Bop-It.
39. When Birkenstocks came back in style, you secretly pulled them out from your closet.

42. You remember when bubblegum came with comics.
43. The most complicated game ever to set-up was Mouse Trap.

46. You remember when Razor Scooters were cool.
47. You miss the Wonderball.
48. The only email account was AOL.
49. Let’s be honest, you should have gone to rehab for your Lip Smacker addiction.
50. You couldn’t decide which nerd you liked more: Urkel or Screech.
51. You remember when markers were more than just markers.
52. Rock Paper Scissors settled everything.
53. You really wanted to talk on the phone, but your brother or sister wouldn’t get off the internet.
54. You can still name every Ninja Turtle and match it with their color.
55. As far as you’re concerned, Michael Jordan is still the only basketball player.
56. You always picked the most ridiculous cars when playing Mash.
57. You couldn’t resist the Taco Bell Chihuahua.
58. An entire classroom with their heads down and thumbs up only meant one thing… Heads Up Seven-Up.

71. Kids will never know how amazing Crème Savers hard candies were before they fell off the face of the earth.
72. The only way to keep your secret safe was in a Password Journal.
73. The only shampoo you used as a kid was L’Oreal Kids shampoo.
74. You couldn’t decide which boy band was the best: Backstreet Boys or NSYNC.
75. The best week in elementary school was Scholastic’s’ Book Fair.

78. The only reason you were healthy as a child was due to Flintstone vitamins.

90. You’re the last part of your generation to remember life before the Internet, smartphone, emojis, texting, and being connected 24/7. But, you wouldn’t have it any other way.
