8 Ways To Get Into The Christmas Spirit

1. Christmas movies. Probably the most obvious way to start your Christmas endeavors would be to watch spoonfuls of snowy classics. Assuming most don't have the regular old VHS laying around, Netflix will not fail you. On the lineup this year we have Christmas With the Kranks, Love Actually, Scrooged, The Legend of Frosty the Snowman, White Christmas, and many more to your liking.

2. This fireplace scene. Of course, if you have a real fireplace, that is preferable, but if you don't this is a close second. Turn this video on and you will be warm and merry in no time.

3. Peppermint flavored everything. Being the taste of the holidays, you must devour everything peppermint. Some of the easiest things to eat, in my opinion, are Williams Sonoma Peppermint Bark, Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Instant Latte, and Candy Canes. My apologies in advance if your obsession worsens or continues.

4. Festive candles. Of course, smelly good things must be included in the most aroma-esque ways possible. My favorite candles of the season are Warm Sugar Cookie Tyler Candle, Bath & Body Works Marshmallow Fireside Candle, and Bath & Body Works Mahogany Teakwood Candle. You have to smell to see.

5. Christmas music. It's like Christmas movies to-go! Turn on any christmas tune and your mood will go from Scrooge to Santa. One of my favorite playlists is this one from Spotify, Frank Sinatra Christmas.

6. Holiday decor. If seeing is believing, you should be seeing red and green. Whether it's a tree in your living room or a garland on your window, add some festivity to your household and some cheer behind your doors.

7. Electric blankets. God bless the inventor or inventress of these things. It is the absolute best feeling to hop into a warm bed after a cold night. 8. Christmas themed beauty products. To make sure you are most prepared for all your winter activities, these products from Lush will put your mind and your body in the spirit.
