Baby, it’s cold outside, which means it’s time to think of ways to recharge for the new year! There are multiple ways to brace yourself to tackle the new semester, new classes, and maybe even new roommate. Here are some quick and easy ways to prepare and refresh for spring.
1. Rearrange your room.
Sometimes all it takes is moving a bed to completely flip your mood! Try optimizing the space in your (incredibly small) dorm by moving some furniture around. You may even find the best dorm layout yet!
2. Organize your school supplies.
I don’t know about you, but starting a new semester with new and organized school supplies helps me start each class with a clear mind! It’s not a bad idea to be organized year round, so why not start at the beginning?3. Get up at the same time every day.
4. Eat healthier.
Just try it. Pass the dessert table in the dining hall and head for that salad bar instead! Drink more water, snack less, buy more fresh fruit. There are numerous ways to eat healthy in college, it’s up to you to make sure you try to!5. Use a planner.
There is literally no reason not to. They’re helpful, they’re organized, and they keep you on track! Keep it in your bookbag and pull it out after every class to mark down whatever homework you’re given.
